Meet  TJ

TJ Jackson was initiated by Dr. Narasimha in Mysore, India. During a seven year sadhana,  he studied yoga chikitsa (therapy), tantra and hatha raja Yoga and simultaneously trained to become a physician in the US. During this time, he met Sri Dharma Mittra in NYC, forever reshaping his path and eventually realizing his own dharma, or way. He now travels the world sharing the gift of self-realization through immersions and trainings.

Maha Sadhana – The Complete Practice

Saturday 5 April 15:30 – 18:30

Adapted from Sri Dharma Mittra‘s signature practice,  Maha Sadhana is the complete living practice as transmitted by one of the great Yoga masters of the 20th/21st centuries.

A complete blueprint for radiant health and well-being, this session begins with a discourse conveying the ancient teachings into our modern lives. It continues with the challenging Shiva Namaskar practice, including deep relaxation and special meditation practice.

Sunday 6 April 17:00-19:30

The Sanskrit Root “an” means to breathe. Prana refers to the sum of all forces of the universe from the tiniest movements of subatomic particles to movements of the heavens – and everything in between. It is a universal life force.  From the yogic perspective, the entire universe is literally breathing as one, united by the golden thread of the energy manifest within our bodies as breath. Because this energy is literally everywhere and animating everything, by uniting with this, we may transcend the material face of nature.

During this session we will explore this bridge of breath, learn how to use it to remove obstacles in the practice to access deeper states of being within the physical, mental, and intuitive bodies. We will explore the bandhas (energetic seals), how to balance effort (tapas) with contentment (santosha) and how doing less can actually result in realizing more.
